I have used "exterior" silicone for years. Black, white and clear. It's just a bitch to remove when it needs to be redone. Anybody know of an easy way to remove it?I was under the impression you never use silicone on an RV. non sag lap sealant?

Huh? Lap sealant is for roof seams, bolts and penetrations. I answered your question for what is actually used, after installing with butyl tape. Many manufacturers add clear silicone around the upper perimetersI that there was non sag and self leveling lap sealant ?
