Boy I hope Car & Driver is wrong…

There will be tons of speculation until people actually start getting the truck next year. But seriously, are people really pulling 10,000 pounds now with half tons? I had no idea. That just seems like sooo much weight for a 1/2 ton. What does a gas 1/2 ton get for mileage when pulling that much weight? Is that common nowadays? I have to start paying attention to half tons and what they are towing.

Sadly, yes they, are. And, it is scary! Some people just don’t understand basic, practical physics.

That is an eye opener for sure. It wasn’t that long ago that I felt on the edge pulling a 9000 pound fifth wheel with a 3/4 ton. :). And that sucker never went more than 240 miles on a tank. :).

You be the bull @Voyageurs, I’ll be the bear. We can make a great team I think! :ROFLMAO:
