Stuart, what's your opinion on the Freightliner Chassis?
I have made two trips for about 1500 miles so far. no real difference felt Except
The FL seams to burp fuel when filling up on drivers side so far, my 18 Spartan was better on this

the FL column shift with engine brake controls is an amazing difference over my 18 Spartan

dropping the front tire pressure from 125 cold to 115 made a very big improvement

not sure if I just haven’t hit the right bump yet, the FL so far no porpoising 🤞🏻

the same for both chassis now, love the digital dash

very unimpressed with the Xite radio, especially the navigation . (Keeping my comments PG)

@Stuart W I saw a YouTube video this weekend on the 2023's and it appears Newmar changed the basement gasket design so you don't have to slam the basement doors. Any feedback/info on this?
In addition to effortless closing, in 2023 Newmar did away with the plunger compartment light switch’s They are now magnets mounted much more secure
sorry the pictures aren’t better, lighting was bad

Stuart, you might be able to reduce tire pressure a bit more? Being full timers, we were loaded and at Newmar we did an individual tire weight a few months after FPU (free offer at the time) and with 85% fuel and 95% fresh water it came out to 85psi in all rear and 105psi in the front tires. About a couple yrs ago I increased it to 90psi in the back and 110psi in the front because of guessing we gained weight. I've found others run these pressures too.
The fuel tank burps sucks.... I cut the flow rate down from 3 clicks to 2 on the nozzle when there's about 30 gals left to fill. Then cut down to one click and listen for gurgling in the tank.
