Love the monitors for mirrors!!
And the Blind Spot Detection was a great feature! Some of the newer coaches might have it, but mine doesn’t, and it’s definitely something I appreciate having in my cars.

@GlampDaddy do your work. If anyone can get @Jim to buy it's you!
Jim’s not the problem here. It’s Trish…and she already spoke with me about how much she loves her Essex, and the various methods she’s considering for my execution in the highly unlikely event of me interfering with her budget again. AND, she even convinced Ryker to snarl at me! Nope, I’m not falling for your tricks again flyboy!

Love the monitors for mirrors!!
You are going to find monitors for mirrors to be implemented in most all vehicles with a government rule change that allows for this. I see this RV also has conventional mirrors as well. Mirrors are: expensive, heavy, get in the way of toll booths, consume fuel (poor aero dynamics), loud (wind noise), sources of water leaks etc. I noticed that later model GM Escalade rear view mirror is really a monitor....so when kids heads in the back are sticking up, the "mirror" (monitor) is clearly seeing the traffic behind. What is a bit disappointing to me is all those monitors tacked around all over the place and not nicely integrated as I would expect in a $3Mill coach. Looks like a DIY'r installed them....

you can find the camera / side monitors on Alibaba etc. That you can add to your 2002 Mountain Aire :)

You can integrate multiple cameras and display them on the monitors. Like: What's the Toad hitch doing? What's behind the 28 ft trailer? Can I move into that lane? Anything on the side? Can I make it under that bridge?

A bit further down the road, the "AI" (hate that name, but oh well) software will be watching those cameras (and Lidar) for you, and advising that a Deer is off in the distant darkness and you better slow down. Or, that car is getting pretty close with a subtle indicator on the monitor. All of the hardware / software to do these things is available today. I just have to find the time...
