I have actively been searching through all the rv sites and online classifieds for several months now. Getting ready to actively inspect potential purchases. My Question:
I see many adds that say everything is new and / or has been restored. For example here's a list of new items in an add. New: tires, alternator, fuel pump, wheel bearings, radiator, generator service, all windows seal's replaced. I've seen longer lists.
So, my question is: Can these be believed? I know I can verify with a visit but it seems the ones i want to look at are several hours or longer away. Why would someone just spend $2-$3,000 just to sell?

IMHO. When I read that type of claim I figure the listed item have been replaced with new items. BUT how long ago was that replacement done? Why was it done. Like “ new tires”. Sure the original ones were china bombs and fell apart but the “new replacements” could be several years old. Was the RV full time or some weekends with perfect weather. Etc. unfortunately only a qualified inspection can tell and that can be. CRAP SHOOT as well sometimes.

Ask if they have receipts.
