In another thread, I mentioned dropping a few bucks at the Gaffney Service Ctr; the most significant expense was replacing my tag axle air bags. It was worth every dollar. I experienced a significant improvement in the ride and handling.

My guess, as mentioned in your other thread, is it's time for new shocks.

I accept Venmo, Zelle and PayPal.

I'm no expert and defer to others but my belief is airbags control ride height, shocks control the ride. Airbags have to play into that equation somehow, I just don't know how the ride is managed between airbags and shocks regarding comfort, bounces, etc. Deferred....

How is the wear pattern on your tag tires? Mine had pretty bad cupping. Not sure if that's just from backing up and scuffing or from shocks, etc.

Look what I found!

Causes of Tire Cupping

Tire cupping, also known as tire scalloping, is caused by several factors including misaligned tires, worn suspension components, and unbalanced tires. Misaligned tires can cause uneven strain on the tire, leading to cupping Worn suspension components such as shock absorbers and struts can also cause the wheels to bounce excessively, leading to cupping Additionally, if tires are not balanced properly, the wheel will begin to bounce, causing the tire to lose its grip on the road and leading to cupping Low-quality tires can also be more susceptible to cupping, especially if the vehicle's suspension or wheel balance is less than ideal

And that's why I also added centramatics for all axles.
