Buying a GPS. Can’t really understand the adds. Can someone tell me the difference, other than screen size, between the German RV 785 and RV 890. Thanks in advance.

I had the 770 and upgraded to the 890. Much prefer the 890 with integrated live traffic and better presentation of routing and nav data.

@Neal beat me to it. Bigger screen is nice, but better interface and data presentation is what got my attention. We still have our RV 760, along with the RV 890 and I’ve done some side-by-side comparisons. The 890 is easier to use and has more features.

We recently upgraded to an RV 1090 for the coach. The RV 770 now used in the pickup. Primary thing that drew us to the 1090 was the bigger screen size. WE've only used the 1090 on one short trip but agree with @Neal @ TJ comments.

None. I asked Garmin when I was getting support for my initial 890 I had an issue with (ended up not being an issue). He said it's just tablet size. These are Android devices now, same software and OS, just different size device.
