I hear ya. But I can't celebrate my independence today by going to the beach as there is a protest scheduled for 7:57 PM tonight to shutdown the beach so no one can celebrate. Not happy putting it nicely. It's not far from the CG I'm at and is right in the area that I go for free parking courtesy of this CG. Best to just stay in today. I'd go to the pool as an alternative but with caution due to covid I'll refrain from that. Guess I'll get some work done.

Good show for I-Day at VA Beach Holiday Trav-L-Park. Probably 1000 here between RV's and tents. Lots of people celebrating and kids having fun, and I didn't expect fireworks to occur but they did so I'll bring mine next year. I guess you're sorta safe on a private campground from the po po. I think this year was complicated everywhere in that with public fireworks cancelled in many locations people took it to themselves. Happy that Elli wasn't affected, we even went on our last evening walk at 11 PM when I was surprised by my neighbor with some pretty big ones going up but she didn't care. I figured exposing her to the noises would be better than keeping her in and being terrified. The first part of the evening when they started we were inside and she just slept through it, glad for that!

Hope everyone else had a good evening. I think getting out in the RV for the 4th and/or New Years is a fun event for those that couldn't get out this year.
