I bought a heated water hose for Incase. Several of the research and videos I saw talked about pre treating the hose when unpacking. The one I got came from Amazon and GoClean. There is nothing about pre treating in the package and now I can’t find anything on the internet about needing pre treating. Are my dreams getting more convincing??? Is there something I should do first?

I had 2 pirit heated hoses and I didn't do anything to them, nor do I remember the instructions telling me to.
