Kevin is correct. I have a V-10 in my Class A and found out about the spark plugs. Reading other forums the issue was resolved about 3 years after the V-10 came out. The reason for the problem was the head was not as thick as it is now and the spark plug threads would protrude a little into the combustion chamber. This would allow carbon buildup on the threads, then when removing the plug the carbon buildup would damage the threads in the head.

The procedure to remove the plugs is:
1. Vacuum the plug area and remove the coil.
2. Break the spark plug no more than a 1/16 of an inch.
3. Spray generous amount of carburetor cleaner or carbon remover
4. Let sit for 6 hrs or more. This will soften the carbon on the plugs.
5. Clean any fluid out of the cylinders to prevent hydraulic lockup.
6. When installing new plugs, torque to spec and do not over tighten as this could damage the threads as well.
