Question Honda CRV towed [toad] brake system?

I searched around here a little bit. I am not sure I am using the right keywords.

I want to install a braking system on my 2014 Honda CRV. The brake systems that set on the floor would be difficult for me to remove and install, with my back condition.

I am looking for some sort of system activated by the air Brakes on my BaRTH coach or by some type of surge system.

A permanent system connecting to the master cylinder or brake pedal that does not interfere with normal driving is what I am looking for. I had seen these on other vehicles. The units are permanent and only need to be plugged into the coaches air system or surge system.

The system should also have break-away capability

The Demco Air Force One system meets your needs. I have it on one of my toads. IMO, it’s the best there is.

This is helpful, I have the same question on braking, looking into various systems and I don't want to be man-handling one of those bulky floor units!

I think my rig may have come with this? Looking at eTrailer I recognize a little air tank I otherwise haven't been able to identify, connected to a rear-facing air connection. I'll start another thread to get the details on it.

In my other toad, I use a Roadmaster Even Brake. It’s a portable system that you put in and take out after each use. I’m on my third one of those in 15 yrs. They seem to have a limited lifespan.

We used the Demco stay and play - same as the Air Force one just electric.

Had it in both toads and never an issue with either one.
