I guess my biggest question is: I used steel braided and smaller inside diameter hoses from the winterization assy pipes over to the water heater inlet and outlet 1/2 pipe fittings. Keep in mind that the pressure hole inside the oulet pipe, was only approx 1/8" so I was told by Ace Hardware and Home Depot personnel that it shouldn't matter. The tankless unit has a regulator that when turned down to acheive 110 degree water temp, my hot water goes to 116 seconds per gallon. The cold is constant 56 seconds per gallon. Any help? Thank you. Greg

Greg, the ID (Inside Diameter) of all hoses and fittings is very important. Specially in systems like ours. I have been in the business of small DC pumps for over 20 years and I developed a info sheet with installation guideline (suggestions) for the buyers. Maybe it will answer some of your questions.

I appreciate your help. The 2 hoses are 30" 1/2 FIP to faucet and 1/2" FIP to valve polymer braided water hoses w 5/16" inlet and 9/16" outlet. Can this restrict my pressure by half?

That size hose is fine. But there could be a kinked hose, or undersize fitting, or number of things out of sight and out of reach? Sometimes there are screens in the most unexpected places. Hard to guess without being here.
