At a resort/campground? They seem to be hot ticket items.

Apple AirTag hidden on bike under duct tape

Bike alarm: Amazon.com

Keep it under cover as some do, I don't always depending where I am.

Insure it if it's an expensive one. I use Velosurance/Markel I think is the company, around $200/year. My Trek is $4500'ish

Get a quality bike lock and consider more than one. I use the Kryptonite one and registered it so there is insurance there. They have different levels of security and coverage.

My toad has a 2 channel dashcam so if possible I try to keep the bike in view of the camera which is always on.

I park 2 e-bikes together and lock them together, then cover them. Many people have asked what kind of motorcycle I have which indicates they don’t even know there e-bikes. I also have them insured $300 for both per year.

If we are at a park that looks sketchy we will load them onto our carrier. They are individually locked to the carrier plus we have Kryptonite locks wrapped around both. If we need to use the Jeep, we transfer the carrier to the coach. If we see others that haven't super secured their bikes and feel the park is fairly safe then we use the Kryptonite locks wrapped around a table or like object. Now (thanks to Neil) we'll be getting air tags as well. Our bikes are insured as part of our renters policy.
