HWH Active Air issue - left front cycling up and down while air leveled

Crawled under the coach this morning and found my manifold. It is located in front of the left front wheel outside of the main frame member. Not a perfect spot but at least I can access it. I’ll wait until you hear from Joe before ordering anything and I’ll give him a call.

The other side of those air hoses are solenoids. I bet that’s the part coming. Let me know what you learn.

Mine is not better. Started up to go to storage and front end was down. Immediately raised to ride height on start. Parked for 2 hours.

agreed with my theory that the valve that opens to push air in the airbag for air leveling is not closing or sealing so it's leaking back out within the system as both of us can't find leaks.

Reading back thru the thread, I reread this and had a question. Are you sure it’s the valve that adds air to the system that Joe is talking about? Wouldn’t it be the exhaust valve that is leaking as air is leaking out not in. Or are we just talking semantics here?
And, the mufflers are in the exhaust line obviously.

All I can say is I described the situation and he seemed to know the part to replace. I got an email from him which I haven't had a chance to read yet, just getting settled back home. After I parked at storage I opened the front to listen, didn't hear anything, didn't see anything happen, went in to do something and came out and left front was all the way down. I still didn't hear anything. I came in and put the key to accessory and checked the PSI's right away, left front was 21 psi, right front was around 70 psi. So I know it's the one area (left front). But if it was an exhaust leak I think I'd hear something, my hunch is the fill line has a valve that's not closing so there is no leak, it's all in the contained system (air lines) and just going back to tank 2 per se and not actually venting out of the system. I didn't try to repeat it, had to leave but it seems whatever the time interval is that AA checks for its pressures after engine stop such as air level update intervals, that's when it opened and lost the air to LF. In other words, the line is not maintaining pressure, but doesn't mean it's actually venting/leaking.

Good afternoon Neal

I have attached to this email a drawing if you will of an Active Air
front manifold. I do not have one that is exactly like yours, yours will
have a module on the side of it and this one doesn't.

What I have done is mark which one is going to be the left lower valve
that will need to be replaced. What you will want to do is drop all the
air in the coach so all the bags are flat. Go underneath to the manifold
and locate the left lower valve and unplug it. Then once it is unplugged
use channel locks and simply unscrew it out of the block. Then screw the
new one in and then plug it back in and you should be good to go.

Of course before you drop the air in the coach you may want to drive the
front up on blocks (do not put the jacks down and crawl under it) so you
have room to get under the coach and work on this.

Hence the muffler that would stop a noise leak. I give…..I know nooothing. God I wish HWH were in Oregon or Nevada!
