Two different trips now I had trouble retracting the front HWH slide on my Tiffin 36LA. First time nothing happened when I pushed retract 4 times. I looked in hydraulic bay( don’t know what I’m looking for) jiggled some wires, went back inside & slide came in. This last time I did the same, nothing. So I thought maybe if I tilted the slide side up a little the pump wouldn’t have to work so hard. When I went to raise the jacks nothing happened at first, then suddenly the jacks actually dropped a hair, then started to extend. I then went back to retract the slide & it came in fine.
So I’m thinking 2 separate control panels & both having trouble getting the pump to work. l need some help what direction I should be looking. Thanks to all for help in my previous posts. Engine was running, emergency brake on, 14 plus volts reading on panel.

The first thing I would do is check all ground wires at & near the HWH system, especially at the pump area.

I wonder if the HWH controller is on its way. Ours needed replacing right before we bought the rig. Good luck!

I’m guessing the controller is the potted box on top of the unit (where the wires go). I have not yet had someone try to retract while I listen to see if pump runs. But I did notice one of the red lights blinking. I checked the ground wires, and they’re all tight. Can anyone tell me which solenoid I should be looking at ? Slide goes out fine, & jacks work fine, expect last trip where the previously mention hiccup occurred when I tried to raise left side & jack suddenly seemed to retract for a second before they then extended.
