How is I-10 through Houston? I'm going to the Indian Motorcycle Rally in Kerrville April 10-14, then back through the same route.
I've driven through Houston a couple of times ending about 10 years ago, but never in an RV. We will not be stopping unless we have trouble.

I have travelled several times in last 2 years, and its pretty rough in spots due to seemingly endless ongoing construction and heavy traffic is just Houston in general. Plan for non peak drive time if you can and you will be fine. I just slow down a little more now over the rougher sections and let the cars and trucks fly by.

WE have driven it twice with our 40' diesel pusher towing F150 SuperCrew 65-70" total length no problem.

Thanks everyone. We’re going through San Antonio, too. It isn't as big, so I'm not planning on problems there

It really comes down to timing. Think about "rush hour" in these type towns is 3-4 hours long. Also a big thing is which way is traffic going?
If you're going through any large metroplex try to always from 10:00AM to 2:00PM. Pretty much the locals are going to be where they want to be and traffic is substantially less. Or before 7:00AM

Google Maps Traffic I think is the most up to date app.
