It seems every time you want to back into a spot a half dozen people will all show up to guide you in. Every one will signal something different, and some hand signals are indecipherable (are you trying to tell me something with your arms or are you having a seizure?)I feel your pain, I'm so sorry this happened to you. I creased the very bottom of two baggage doors because I had a campground employee direct me on a turn and there was a small pole not very high off the ground out of sight line; never again will I listen w/o checking.
I had to Google RV autobody repair, the closest was 70 miles away; auto places won't touch it. Because aluminum is harder to work with they suggested replacing the doors for the minor crease. They convinced the insurance it would be cheaper overall to buy new and repaint and they agreed. Like it never happened.
Best of luck with repair.
I ignore them all and follow DWs signals.
