I feel your pain, I'm so sorry this happened to you. I creased the very bottom of two baggage doors because I had a campground employee direct me on a turn and there was a small pole not very high off the ground out of sight line; never again will I listen w/o checking.

I had to Google RV autobody repair, the closest was 70 miles away; auto places won't touch it. Because aluminum is harder to work with they suggested replacing the doors for the minor crease. They convinced the insurance it would be cheaper overall to buy new and repaint and they agreed. Like it never happened.

Best of luck with repair.
It seems every time you want to back into a spot a half dozen people will all show up to guide you in. Every one will signal something different, and some hand signals are indecipherable (are you trying to tell me something with your arms or are you having a seizure?)
I ignore them all and follow DWs signals.

Admission of guilt when you implied your wife wasn't present.
Rule #1 in RV driving - lean back in the seat and suggest to the wife to go out and take a look. Rule #2 - same as first. Complete indemnification. Well, almost. As she was returning to the coach a toll booth gate came down and struck the side.
Here's to knocking on wood ...

Now isn't this cathartic? Come on, I know there are more boneheaded stories out there, fess up, it's good for the soul.

Wow you guys had some great boo boos. That lost end cap must of been a heart ache. BUT I still have you all beat. I cleared my whole roof, three solar panels, two air conditioners, one satellite dome, one OTA antenna, two super vent domes poof all gone. Watch out for low bridges.

HH
Yup that way beats my end cap escapade for sure.

There once was a ladder where all of those dents and odd markings are. I needed two more inches (y’all can fill in the jokes).

At least the window was spared. I was going to like your post for playing along and then I thought better of it.
