Wow, I'll be checking now. But I has a similar situation noted on delivery of my new London Aire that where I felt the steering was binding and you could feel something rubbing in the steering wheel, I also had an excessive amount of road noise coming from under the dash.

The selling dealer said nothing was wrong and then I had it to Freightliner and they said that it was just the feeling of Comfort Drive. Knowing they were all incorrect because this was my second Newmar with Comfort Drive I crawled under the coach to inspect the steering. The pic on the right where the steering shaft boot coming off the floor board is what I found, they installed the shaft boot incorrectly leaving a gaping hole, hence the road noise.

When I took the boot down I found my source of binding and rubbing noise. As you can see clearly in the pic on the right the shaft was rubbing on the floor board and flashing. I bought the coach new so this was the work of Newmar. Clearly the hole drilled in the floor board was in the incorrect spot and instead of someone doing it correctly and drilling a new hole they just took a hammer and chisel to it. I cut the hole out and cleaned it up and reinstalled the boot correctly and like magic my problems solved. Some real shoddy workmanship by Newmar.

Good information. That video is just a few seconds longer than necessary but I managed to hang with it long enough to get the message. Ill check it before I drive the coach again.
