I am starting to plan my route for traveling south in January. I am wondering about I 40 in Tennessee and North Carolina as well as I 26. I believe both had damage from hurricane. does anyone know if they are open. What is it like traveling through there. Is it backed up or slow going? Are there any restrictions? Will be traveling in a class A towing a SUV.

I usually take I 75 to I 40 to I 26.
I can go I 77 to I 26 but i prefer I 75. More places to to stop for the night.

Thanks for any info.

Dan

Following since we will be in Gaffney this coming May. That is the route we took north after leaving the service center.

This was current as of Oct 5th. I doubt anything has changed.
