I had colored lanyards on my 2018 DS (K2 chassis). If you look close, you’ll see that the K3 chassis has colored lanyards to indicate Wet, Primary and Secondary tanks. Silver, Green and Red.
Mine too.I just looked and my K3 are colored as well, but so dirty that I had to look closely. Looks nothing like the display![]()
Those help a lot! I need to get some. Maybe I can ply some away from Spartan when I go back there on the 19th.colored carabiners
So of the three, which one is also referred to as the ping tank?If you look close, you’ll see that the K3 chassis has colored lanyards to indicate Wet, Primary and Secondary tanks. Silver, Green and Red.

Yes I do, although I must admit that I sometimes struggle with the order. Gotta remember that its the color names in alphabetical order: gray (not silver), green, then red. Although I wonder if it really matters. I usually look at the ground afterward and never see a wet spot. Not sure if I even hear any water with the air coming out. The valves are supposed to be self actuating, so I'm not sure its needed.Mine too.I need colored carabiners to put on them like they gave us in the Spartan's Owners Class that I took way back when. Do you still have yours @flyboy013?
I was at a Cummins and the tech just yanked on all of them, no specific order and said it was fine to do that. @redbaron Me too! I'm pretty bad at checking them.Although I wonder if it really matters.
