Brand new this year; I’ve used the freshwater 2 times. My dad told me I need to be draining the water heater to prevent stinky water. Each Time I’ve drained the hot water tank the freshwater tank will not work after. I brought it in the first time and they called and told me everything worked just fine when they looked at it. Sure enough brought it home and the freshwater worked fine until now, when I drained all the water out and tried to winterize it.
Pump is supposed to be self priming, and the bypass is on. I’m at a loss what is going on here.

I had a similar problem with my old Keystone Laredo. The water pump would just run forever and never shut off when I knew there was plenty of water in the tank. The solution was to open up all the faucets (kitchen and bath) and then the pump would start working after a few minutes.
