Hi all

I recently purchased this 97 discovery. Had been sitting a couple years. Put new tires on immediately and charged the front ac unit. She’s good to go now. 60k miles on her. My question is, can I convert the 30amp service to 50amp, if so, is it worth it? The front and rear ac’s will stay on only at night. During the day (upper 90’s and humid here in NW Arkansas) it sheds and only one runs at a time. Seems like this should have been 50amp from the get go.
Appreciate any feedback

Yes you can. Add a 50 amp breaker box and feed your current box from that box using a 30 amp breaker. Feed the wires from one of the A/C units to the 50amp box and fuse appropriately. Don't forget that new 50amp shore cable!
