It's popularly 6 yrs. Michelin says up to 10 years. Many say between 6 and 10 years. In any case replacing tires which haven't reached any of those thresholds isn't going to add one cent to the value of the coach. The Newmar on the front is what will sell it. No one is going to say, "We considered the Newmar, but the Jayco had newer tires".

It will be a selling point for the seller/dealer. That's the catch here. At the current owner's expense to benefit the dealer. I agree with the advice above, try to sell on your own. I imagine the pre-owned market is still saturated, the dealer needs every edge they can to sell it to benefit them, no you. Only YOU are out for you, the dealer is not. It just depends if you want to deal with the selling process and care about the money involved or just want it out of your life.

Edit: I recall my younger years a friend told me "detail to retail" - so your tires may get you a better price, can they increase the sales price to cover the tires? Also, it may be what gets it sold vs sitting on the lot for a year.

Lot's to consider, things I'm sure you're already aware of. Wish you the best in a great sale.

Our tires were installed 4 1/2 years and 28,000 miles ago, and the dealer we are considering using to sell it wants us to put new tires on it.
We've been shopping around, and quoted 5800 for Goodyear (which is what's on it now).
Goodyear G670's? Goodyear website claims an RV service life of 5 to 7 years. I have four G670's on the rear that will be 7 years old in October but will be replaced when we get home in April/May due to age, nor wear. My steer tires were also G670 but started cupping at 5 years. I replaced those with BF Goodrich steers and they've been great. I'd stick with what you have, dress them accordingly and tell the dealer the sale is as is, no warranty expressed or implied.

If the tires have cracks in the side wall, might as well replace. If not don’t replace.
I put it out there, when to replace a week or so back and many different responses. My tires are 6YO and some side wall cracks. So we have made the decision to replace.
So are you buying another coach, or is this it?
