Just purchased my wife a new Ford Bronco as her Honda HRV was 10 years old. Only had 80k on it and never missed a beat, HOWEVER, lots has changed in that 10 years and cars have more advanced safety, so we decided on something new.
With that said, we really did our homework and got the model we wanted after much, MUCH haggling, scratching and spitting at the "sales manager"

OK, off to finance to complete our purchase and more documents to buy a car than I did my house......
Boy are they slick, they toss out all of these options before they put that bottom dollar number on that contract, like LIFETIME maintenance, complete with dental care and gender counseling for added piece of mind for only a few dollars a month, which adds only 30% more to the cars final price we agreed upon.....

I looked at the guy and said, "If Ford is making a product that needs EXTRA warranty because its a inferior product, then I am backing out of this deal right now......"

Do they think I'm stupid?

I got the time share I recently purchased in Kauai to cover it :)
