Hi All,

We are replacing the standard TV with a smart one - anyone does this before and know how to get into and what screws to take out for this type of rising TV unit?

See pics below for the type i mean....

Ok so i believe if should have been as simple as lifting the tv up and off but my one was installed with bolts below the top of the two tv brackets attached to the back of the tv (meaning the bolts attached to the support frame to set the height would not allow the bottom tv bracket to move past them)

In the end i had to awkwardly remove the top tv bracket while still attacked with a socket set and then remove the support from bolts (also v awkwardly as no space) before i could lift the tv off.

Putting back on was easy - i put the support bolts at the bottom so the bottom of the two tv brackets were sitting on it meaning it can slide up and off in future.... Doing it that way has created a slight lurch to one side which makes no sense to me so still trying to figure that out!
