So the new to me Sportscoach has an onboard diesel generator that is designed to slide out in front of the coach. At the dealer when we bought it, it slid right out. Now, here at home, no such luck.
I went underneath and opened the releases by hand, but no movement.
Anyone have a clue or a trick to get the generator to slide out? I considered having someone pull the release handle as I go forward and stab the brakes, but I can see all kinds of bad things coming from that.
As always, any suggestions are welcome.

I looked on line for an answer but nothing on the Sport Coach. You may try checking with Coachman.

Thank you sir.
My buddy thinks it may be in some sort of bind, so weather permitting, i may try to get a floor jack under it.
That or a bottle of miralax to help it slide out.

I had the same problem with my Allegro Bus. It is a crappy system and my latches were not in working together. So I had to pull the lever, pull a bit on the genny, go back and I could hear the other latch release. But often after sitting a while, I couldn't get it to come out. You are on the right track. If you have released the latches just drive ahead very slowly and hit your brakes. It can't fall off and it doesn't take much to get it to slide out. When you get it out, lube everything.
Be glad you experienced this at home and not in a Walmart parking lot when your wife turns on to much with the microwave and it kicks the genny breaker. Now you will know what to do.

Thanks,
My luck, the whole thing will end up in the street. I did see that everything needs lubed under there, so that is on the list.
I did try with it on the jacks and off the jacks, no change.

When you get it to move, lubricate the track good.
