How To Open Fantastic Fan without turning it on?

@bydnar - can you share your tip on how to open the Fantastic fan without it actually running? I tried it this morning, the only way that I know is to open it manually then put it on Auto with a high temp, the fan stopped.

I have to look at mine again. If you hit open vent, I think the fan starts. When you turn it off and then hit open vent the vent opens without the fan. I often have to play with the remote the first time of the season to get the sequence right. It is probably in the instruction manual, but, of course, I did not read that. :cool:

1. Turn off the controller by touching the manual/auto button on top. (No LEDs on)
2. Touch up/down to open or close vent without fan

BTW...I never received a conversation request, if that’s what the @name is supposed to do. I stumbled on this thread by chance.
