To give you an idea of the power of modern medicine, here is Dusty just after being surgically treated for a massive infection of unknown origin. He’s now acting like a new puppy even though he will be 12 in May. Go Ryker go!

Wow! Looking GREAT, Dusty!

Hoping for good outcomes, Our berna-doodle (gizmo) is fighting cancer right now, tumor removed last week,View attachment 22371

Poor Gizmo, I hope they kicked “C’s” butt with the surgery. We just lost our Lexi to cancer but surgery was not an option that we chose due to where the tumour was and she was 12 and it would have too hard on her. Way to go Gizmo, I will pray for great results!

Thank you, he is only 6 so we and vet are optimistic

Not a lot yet, but in a couple of hours it'll be hard to find the road. Not missing it.

Apparently the rain has been brutal. Here is picture of Joses in Gatlinburg.

Just provide the address to @Neal because he loves that white stuff. He’s all over it and makes a great camp host while you are away. Just saying….
As soon as I saw that I booked all of the sites! On the way...Elli has her sled, ready to play!

I talked to our kids yesterday, they said the Charlotte area is flooded. A little bit of rain here in Key largo, but windy. Keep us updated on Ryker.

He's been doing well with his hydro-therapy and seems to really enjoy it. Vet said he's doing great! I believe we're seeing improvement as well. But then, I have to distinguish between what I hope is happening and what is really happening. lol, but I think he's doing better.

That's great news, always stay positive.

Ryker seems to be enjoying himself.

A little story about Lola, we bought her from scammers that stated she wasa Mini Australian shepherd and would weigh no more than 25 lbs. After having her a few weeks and studying her my husband states “her ears stand up just like a German shepherd” and her paws are pretty big. So we suspect Lola is German Shepherd. We have sent a dna sample in for testing for whatever that’s worth? Time will tell, she is 17 Weeks old and weighs about 17 lbs.

17 lbs. at 4 months isn't really much for the average GSD. So she really might be a Australian shepherd. I grew up with Australian shepherds, They're great dogs,

I got bored and got started turning the storage building (12X14) into a casita. I’ve got it wired, framed up the wall between the living area and the bathroom and insulated it all. Also cut an opening that will become a door between the existing outdoor kitchen and the casita.

Currently, there is a double door that enters into the building, but I don’t need that anymore. But I did want to keep one side so that we could use it to gain direct access to the motor home. So we locked the unneeded side and framed around it while keeping the window area for light. From the outside, it looks like a double door setup. From the inside, it looks like a standard 36" door with a sidelight window.

Ryker is showing concern and I believe I head him asking his Mom if this meant we were spending his rehab money. Poor little guy, he'll be looking for a side job tomorrow!

Nice job and interesting use of the door(s) - I never would have thought of that.
