Has anyone ever changed the outdoor TV mount to one that articulates better and gives better viewing angles??

Depending on the depth of the TV storage bay is will determine what TV type mount you get.

Yes, I did, so much better than what Newmar installed in mine. Just keep in mind some of what they use and consider transferring it such as the strong magnet to help it stay retracted. I also put a bigger TV in.

Thanks Neal!! what mount did you use???

I've bought so many...but I think this is the one:

How is that tv mounted? I can’t see behind it and it feels like it’s screwed to the wall.

Yep. It’s just a wood wall.

So, how do you get to the wall behind the tv?

Funny, I've had outdoor TV's in many of my RV'S never had the urge to watch outside, in our early days of camping, we found it annoying sunday afternoons of others blasting Nascar races while trying to enjoy the quiet, please go inside

We have an outside TV and I am wondering if I can somehow turn it into a small outside kitchen. Has anybody else tried?

Here is mine. It is called a fire place mount. It nice because it drops down so you are not looking up at the TV. It was a bit of a project.

That is really nice!! do you have a link to what you purchased???

That's the one thing I hate about the outside tv. It's mounted too high to be able to see it with reflections off the screen. I replaced the mount with the same one Neal has that will tilt downward, but it's still hard to see in daylight hours. I was toying with the idea of putting it in the pegboard bin and changing the tv cabinet into a tool area, but with the bay doors hinging on the side, it would be hard to get any view from the front area. We just don't use it much at all, much like the hammock option that takes up all the living area when set up.

I use this type at home. I have not changed any in the RV. I probably will when I change out TVs. I need smart TVs. I’m old school, it’s had to replace if it stills works.

I use Apple TV to stream everything and with that I can use my Apple AirPods (ear buds) to connect to the Apple TV so I can watch outside without anyone hearing it. It also makes it easier to hear the broadcast. But neighbors watching TV doesn't bother me, it's all part of the camping experience, being outside, etc.
