Anyone out there over 80 years old and still enjoying the RV lifestyle?
How has TVing changed for you over the years? What advice do you have for those heading that way.

I'm only 3 months from turning 80, and, as my coach is now winterized, my next trip, in the spring, will be in my 80's.

With the advent of digital channels over the air, and Xumo, Roku, & Fire, it is super easy to have lots of TV to watch. Even without WiFi, I use my cell phone's hot spot to stream.

I do not boondock except the occasional Cracker Barrel parking lot, and always have something to watch.

I will be 81 this month and have been rving in a pusher for 20+ years. Obviously the biggest change is length of travel day. 3-4 hundred miles used to be the norm. Now it’s 2-3 max. Also length of stay at each stop has lengthened. We also have to consider medical conditions much more than even just a few years ago. Having a home base is much more important as you get into your 80’s and full timing is much more difficult I believe (we are not full timers) because of increasing medical stuff.
All that being said, we plan on many more years of rving but perhaps no longer traveling across the US but staying a bit closer to home. We have visited the 48 contiguous states, some many times, and a good part of Canada but much of that will probably be wonderful memories.
We are based on the West Coast and are blessed with absolutely magnificent places to visit all within 500 miles of our home base. We are also able to park our coach in our backyard plugged in 24/7 which is a game changer for us. It allowes for easy loading/unloading over a period of time which is a great help as you get older.
Both Judy and I feel that rving has so enriched our lives that we will keep on, perhaps in a limited style until we just can’t physically do it anymore. It’s all good!

🤪🤩
I apparently took the OP's question literary!
I thought he was asking about "TVing" when, in actuality, he meant RVing.
Head slap on me!!!

That's okay. When I read about your TV habits I kind of scratched my head then went back the the OP to see what I missed then it hit me. TV instead of RV. I need to shake my head as well. You read it right, I made an assumption that TV was really RV. :)
