It's happening, y'all! We are planning our first ever long road trip (long for us anyways, 10 days!).

Someone suggested RV Parky for planning, and this website/app has been amazing! We can plan everything right down to rest stops and find campgrounds to stay in too!

We aren't 100% sure when we are leaving, but it's looking like it will be in May around Mr. Olney's birthday lol.

We will be staying overnight in the first two stops, then staying 6 nights in Mesa Verde, then overnight at the last stop. Anyone have any tips for the overnight spots? It seems silly to book a campsite for one night.

Have you learned about Harvest Hosts? For an annual membership, it gives access to over 1,200 wineries, breweries, distilleries, museums, farms and golf courses. Overnight for $0. All they ask is that you consider patronizing their business. 2-3 stays “pays” the annual membership versus campground fees.

I have heard of them. :) We haven't signed up for any of the memberships that are available yet, because we are trying to figure out which one would best fit our needs. We don't golf and we don't drink, so we aren't sure if thatone would be worth it or not.

@bydnar feel free to use your referral link for Harvest Hosts. I'm all for people here that bring business to companies to earn commission on referrals so don't be bashful ALL. If you want to be clear it is an affiliated link that's up to you, we all want to help each other and HH does do referral benefits.
