Problem problems with left turn signal newmar Ventana 2008

We are having a problem locating the source of this. Our left turn signal keeps blowing fuses. Wiring from signal apparatus is hot when signal indicator turned on. No signal indicator light on dash for either left or right, although right signal does work. Wiring to the relays is warm. Neither Left front turn signal works, nor left side marker. Left rear signal will flash. Weird and very confusing. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

In the last few years freightliner has had recalls and issues around their PDM module which causes issues with the left tail lights (among other issues)

Freightliner conducts second recall for chassis brake light issue

Freightliner Custom Chassis inspected for brake light malfunctions in 2018 are now being recalled after Daimler Trucks North America found the problem in vehicles it looked at but did repair in the first recall.

Thank you. Should have mentioned that this is a 2008 Spartan chassis. There is no recall.

Ha! You're right...that certainly can't be the problem...

But thank you anyway. So stumped.....had a Spartan mechanic troubleshoot and couldn't duplicate the problem.

You may want to change the flasher unit. I've seen a bad flasher do weird things. For example, with the key off, step on the brake pedal and the radio would come on. An inexpensive first step.

Thankyou… yes, already did that too! As I said, so very weird. Still ongoing…. Grrr.. can’t keep doing right hand turns! LOL
