I presently have 21 Tiffin 32sa and have very few minor problems. However there are other owners who have lots of slide problems both electric and hydraulic issues. I have researched Newmar and it appears they use completely different system. I haven’t seen any negative comments on Newmar’s slides, are they actually trouble free? I have also heard many complaints on Tiffins Aqua-hot system and for that reason and the belief simplest is best we are going to stick with propane for heat and cooking. We are purchasing a 3717 360 pusher.

Any insight or advice from Newmar owners would be appreciated.

You should get lots of responses…. I feel their slides are well made…. As long as you check you motor mount bolts regularly. And there are solutions to prevent the bolts from backing out.

I believe the slide mechanisms are about as trouble free as you can get in a production coach. You’ll read of the occasional one-off problem, but overall, slide problems don’t get a lot of press on the forums.
