Question quick connect at rear of motorhome

Can anyone tell me what this Quick connection is for located at the rear of my 2004 WF329B Minnie, it is small, covered with a rubber cap and has a ground wire with it. Thanks for the help Jerry

We had a similar one that was for connecting an external propane grill. That looks much more like a propane connector than anything electrical to me. Our current fifth wheel has an outside kitchen with a propane grill and a connector just like this that we have to connect to use the grill.

The spring-loaded coupler and tethered dust cap are characteristic of the low-pressure propane connections many RVs have for connecting an outdoor grill, fire pit, or camp stove. It's usually supplied from the RV's propane system downstream of the regulator, so it's intended for low-pressure appliances.

Is a compressor mounted in a bay somewhere? If so that may be for an air supply for towed braking system.

Looks like a compressed air fitting yo me. Propane would have a male fitting.

I have on board air on my truck and the fitting at the rear bumper looks similar other than the electrical plug.

Hey all Thanks for the Information, it is indeed a air fitting for a brake system, found the compressor device in one of the bays, still need to do a little research to see what brand etc it is Thanks a bunch Jerry

It's probably, more than likely your quick connect to your propane for portable gas grill. Just make sure you have the proper regulator, and hose to do it
