At random times during the day we have a power failure that affects the following--
1/ If the TV over the windshield is on, it is immediately shut off;
2/ The entry door lock engages
3/The entry step retracts to the travel position
4/The front window shades cannot be lowered
It is as though the ignition key was was turned to start the coach but the key is NOT in the ignition
In EXACTLY 60 minutes from the time of shutting down, power is restored. The door unlocks, the TV automatically comes back on, the step stays out after the door is opened and re-closed and the shades function normally.
The time between shutdowns is random. Sometimes 6 or 8 hours sometimes only 3.
There is a circuit board that controls some of these functions in the outside compartment under the driver's seat. There is also a time delay relay ( InPOWER Model VCM-05-SP249 12Vdc Solid State 5 Second) on the right hand side of the bulkhead that is not plugged in. What does it do and should it be connected ? Does it have or not have any connection to the failure?
Has anyone had this problem ? Any suggestions appreciated.
