We just purchased a used (one owner) 2018 Ventana 3412 (Electric, no propane). I am challenged in understanding the charging/inverting system (Magnum Energy monitor/controller). I understand some of the basics of AC (shore power charging) to DC (battery storage) to AC (inverting), but never had a course in electricity -- Amps, Volts, Loads, etc... The original owner installed a new battery bank (8 cells) this spring. He reviewed how the system works but I think I could use some help making sure I have the Magnum Energy Monitor configured correctly when I am parked/loading the coach at home (plugged into a basic 120 outlet in my garage); when we are cruising down the road; when we are connected to 50Amp full hook-up shore power; when I have the coach in storage connected to a 120 outlet. I am just beginning to read the Magnum manual but again, I do not have an education in Amps/Volts/Loads, etc... Can someone recommend a video that will help me to know what settings I should have for my Magnum in each of these scenarios? And when to change the settings? Or can you tell me how you have yours configured? And...how the AGS should be configured. For the most part the coach will be in storage (120 outlet), or on the road or in a full hook-up scenario. Thanks!
