I would like to replace our generically keyed RV locks on a 2015 Itasca 25B Spirit vehicle with non-generically keyed ones for more security:
I am looking at latch-it ones however the hole in the compartments is an oval and not round.
Dimensions measured on the RV, have an oval hole which is 3/4 inch by 61/64 inch, latch-it lists a round hole of 3/4 inch,
so my concern is the latch-it may not properly seat or be secure or will have an opening on the front portion of an installed lock.
Is anybody successfully using latch-it compartment keys on their Itasca that is close to oval hole sizes listed above ?
Or does someone have a recommendation of locks that are non-generically keyed that may work for dimensions listed above ?
regards
