Hey all - I know I will get a lot of opinions on this topic - but what do feel is the best DIY coating for the EPDM roof on my 5th wheel? The membrane is fine (no leaks) - so this is more for preventative maintenance vs. it being an issue already. Also - if you have an opinion on a product, how much does it cost per gallon (or whatever)?

I've read lots about coatings and people are recommending lots of silicone base stuff that though it is roof coating is not specifically labeled as being for EDPM roofs. Not caring for that I went a different way and bought some Ames Maximum Stretch roof coating that IS labeled for EDPM.
Looking to cure a pinhole leak I couldn't find, I bought a gallon form Home Depot for $44. Reading the can it said applying with a squeegee was an option. I found it thin enough I just rolled it on with a foam 12" paint roller. I covered about 1/2 of my 38 foot class A. Fixed that darn leak I couldn't find but didn't look great exactly. So I ordered two more cans. One to do the other half and I figure the third gallon will do all of it a thinnish second coat and make it look nicer.

I was recently at a campground on a hill and halfway up there was a camper with a terrible looking rubber roof where most of the white was worn away and the black was shining through. After about the third time going by and admiring that roof I had a strong urge to make sure that my roof looked reasonably nice and ordered the two other cans.
