Route recommendation Texarkana <--> Houston

Would appreciate any recommendation for the quickest route between Texarkana and Houston;

Going thru I30 and I45 seems like a long way..

another option looks like I30 then Rt 19 to connect to I45. Not sure how well Rt 19 is, is it a 2Ln hyw?

Another option maybe US59.

Many years ago tried the back roads in E. Texas and that took for ever.. would appreciate suggestions from those familiar with the roads and traffic.. thank you.

US59 is not a bad road. You will find construction at some point as it is being converted to I69. I think that is in the Cleveland area.
