As I am getting closer to finally pulling the plug, I've noticed that there are some dealers out there that include RV Complete with your purchase, some include Route 66, however I came across one that includes a lifetime warranty on your rig.. Any idea if that lifetime warranty is good as its advertised? anyone on here have any experience with this type of dealership? Please advise.

Ain't nuthin free---if legit, you're paying for it! (If bogus, you're still paying for it.)

If you post your location &/or what you're looking for, we MIGHT have recommendations for you,

Only keep in mind they're not giving you anything for free, ever, either you're unknowingly paying for it or you're not getting anything worth paying for. It's quite likely you're unknowingly paying for something that's not worth paying for. If they're including some type of extended warranty, you're definitely paying for it, it most likely isn't covering what's most likely to fail and even if it does, put you a Philadelphia lawyer on retainer, you'll need one before they're agreeing to repair anything more complicated than a stuck cabinet door latch. It's hard enough to get most dealers to perform manufacturer warranty work, you can imagine how that same dealer is going to do extended warranty work. Gimmicks are how dealers make money on what's called the " back end" of the deal, it's non-zero sum and trust me, you're going to be on the way down there wrong side of that equation.

Just keep in mind that what they are covering, which isn't much, is contingent on you paying them $199.00 per year to do an inspection and that's on top of what you paid up front for the warranty. Many times that's to get you in so you can be hustled to pay them for some type of work that isn't covered by the warranty, ie., your roof needs a $5,000 recoat which isn't covered, but if you don't pay us to recoat the roof and you later report water damage from intrusion we will refuse to honor the warranty. I notice that things like slides, auto leveling systems and electrical, the things that would be most costly in the event of failure are not included. There's fine print, ie., exclusions, you'd want to know about. I would tell you to dial up their reviews, but the review system is so corrupted by fake reviews that it's now unreliable. What I do look for is the negative reviews, if you can find them. Many businesses pay to have the negative reviews buried under a mountain of fake reviews.

I just looked at their google review and a couple of customers had positive experiences until a sales guy was going through their vehicle without the permission.. and other reviews seem fake and manufactured..

I will go over the fine print which I didn't do to begin with

HMB hit the nail on the head. They always have that minimal cost per year inspection to honor the life time warranty. It's a gimmick. They will get you one way or the other.
