I bought a safe for my home, for my firearms. It's still at the store because
1. I have not been able to schedule a delivery.
2. I may sell the home and a 300 lb safe seems a bit much for an RV.

Debating returning it.

What do you all do for a safe in an RV?
I have seen some "safes" that are more like a lightweight metal gun cabinet at Harbor Freight. While not nearly as robust as a real safe, neither are they 300+ lbs.

Any thoughts?

Thank you!

Typically if you install a Safe, the theft will do more damage than the value of the contents prying it from the RV structure. Our solution is to secure the RV, always, and not park in areas that are easily accessible to unsavory characters.
We pride ourselves for being under the radar, so to speak. No stickers, nothing obvious on any vehicle or clothing that might attract the curious criminal.
We are always prepared and vigilant.
