@ARD I was reading Joe Goodxrvn's super cool reference document (yes weird) and it occurred to me: If I were in your place I would attempt to obtain cables commensurate with the tow capacity of my Londonaire: 20,000 lbs! I suggest a call or email to Spartan on this, as I assume they formed that steel with something in mind that would fit.

Then again, maybe not! ha ha

Sure - to each his own, but I suspect that Spartan have created an attachment location for the heavier cable. Also, I am loathe to suddenly find myself with a heavier load without the proper equipment!

Not sure I agree, butttttt

On the infinite "what if" you changed tow vehicle for example and bought a heavier vehicle?

Oh wait, I sized the tow bar to my current vehicle. I would think the answer might be sized according to the capacity of your tow bar.
