Here is an interesting devise to diagnose a Sim card. If you have a Sim (Subscriber Identity Module) card with a Pin code lock you might unlock it. The reader and software can help you diagnose and repair/unlock a Sim card.
Personally I am experimenting with a ATT Sim I purchased from ATT and could not get activated on ATT system for some reason. Just want to see all the information stored on the Sim card. You might be surprised what historical info is associated to the Sim card number and stored at the phone company level.
