Hello everyone,

I'm reaching out in the hope of connecting with someone who might know of an older motorhome that needs a new home.

I'm from rural Eastern Kentucky, and I'm working toward a lifelong dream of relocating to the Florida Keys to attend the College of the Florida Keys and study marine biology. My goal is to eventually work in coral restoration and marine conservation.

The biggest obstacle is finding affordable housing for myself and my partner while making the move. Our financial circumstances are difficult, and I'm trying to find a way to avoid homelessness while creating an opportunity to pursue my education.

I'm hoping to connect with someone who has an older, dependable Class C motorhome they no longer use and might consider donating, selling for a very affordable price, or discussing another arrangement. I'm open to older RVs that need reasonable repairs, provided they can be made safe and roadworthy.

I understand that an RV is a valuable asset, and I don't take that lightly. I'm not expecting anyone to feel obligated to give something away. I'm simply hoping to reach someone who might have an unused vehicle, know an owner who does, or be able to point me in the right direction.

If you know someone I could speak with, I'd be genuinely grateful if you would send me a private message.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story.

What is your budget? There is a BaRTH for sale here. The asking price is $6500. Many Barth coaches sell for less than the asking price.

Something to consider. Many rv parks have a ten year rule. So unless you find a well kept older coach, chances of finding an rv park in the keys that will accept an older coach is rare. You may need to change your dream and find a college that is in a less expensive location.
When I was 16 I worked my ass off at a factory job after school, also shoveled snow or mowed lawns because no one was paying my way. You may find a good paying job in the keys to pay for a room, but busy season, whether in an rv park or renting a room does not come cheap
