Zoom that back a bit so I can see what's between Franklin NC and Atlanta GA. And then from Atlanta GA to Pensacola FL. That would be very helpful. Can you do that?
Maybe. I’ll give it a try. By the way those symbols with the wrenches generally mean under construction. So it looks like there is some kind of push going on there.

Ok. Here’s a couple of images. These are all DC fast chargers but not sure which franchises although I’m not sure that matters. Depending on the vehicle you could probably do it with one charge stop. But if it was me I would be stopping 3 times just because I drink too much coffee. And again, if I’m stopped, I’m charging, even if it’s just for a 10 minute per and coffee refill. Everyone travels different. Here we go.

Leg one.

No, don't apologies, you're doing a great job! From the looks of things, I might just make it from point A to point B! As I said, I'd love to have a DC vehicle, just didn't see it as viable. Thanks!

You are welcome. Those pictures came from plugshare. You can go to plugshare.com as well and play with it a bit. Might be fun.

@Voyageurs posts havs been quite educational to me as well.

We know that one day this will be easier than ice fueling. May not be as far off as I thought.

I’m glad you like them. Its an interesting topic for my wife and I. We were early adapters 6 years ago. Now Teslas are as common as corollas in some places around here. ?.

I think the EV RV connection for smaller travel trailers is going to take off in the next couple years. We already see more of the tear drop type trailers getting hauled around by EV SUV’s or CUV’s or whatever they are called.

Cheers.

Not so sure. I understand the range of the Lightning is less than 100 miles towing a typical mid sized travel trailer. I have the F-150 PowerBoost Hybrid. Highway range drops from around 600 miles per tank to around 300 miles per tank with mid sized travel trailer.

Yah could be. I have no idea on the Fords specs for towing although I have heard that that 100 mile number was speculation and not from ford.

I suspect as soon as the first sales are made people will be reporting their numbers soon after.

Off topic, those hybrids with the onboard inverter are a sweet truck.

This is a thermodynamic issue. Ford says the Lightning has a range of 300 miles. Average mid size travel trailer weighs about the same as a high end F-150. Double the rolling mass (truck plus trailer) reduces range by half. Can't fool Mother Nature.
