Thought I had every torx bit known to man, but this is somewhere between a 10 and 15. Anyone know size and where I can get one? 20200107_114728.jpg

Didn't think of trying that. I'll give it a shot. Thanks!

A call to Newmar would be my thought. They should be able to tell you what size they are. I am suspecting that is one of the "look-alike" Torx fasteners out there.

Lostinfla, curious, did you find the correct driver?
Acting on your advice, I just tried a square drive and it fit beautifully! I guess the 8 point cap is just to throw people off. Thanks for the suggestion! I feel kind of stupid not trying that before.

Well, folks; I learned something as a result of this post. After a bit of research, I found this on the Fastenal web site:

"Double Square
The head looks like a star with 8 points. A square bit is used on this drive and it is a called a double because the bit can be inserted two different ways. This gives a second option if the drive is stripped."

So, there really is a double Robertson square drive screw head and it is intended that you use the conventional #2 Robertson square drive bit on it. It appears that there is no "special Torx" bit. Who knew?

Thanks TJ! I must have spent 3 hrs trying to find the correct torx. Things are not always as they seem...
