On my current trip I've had quite a few significant elevation changes. For example I traveled from Amarillo, TX to Angel Fire, NM. Amarillo is around 3K elevation and Angel Fire is over 8K. It really gets your attention when your sleep number bed is a brick. I've heard of situations where bladders have burst from this. So caution, plan and think of where you're going next and if you're one that keeps your sleep number bed on a higher setting consider reducing or deflating it prior to travel. I keep mine on around 65% and it was a brick, I was lucky. I never thought of this in the fall of 2017 when I went to even higher elevations on a trip through CO and northwest.
