So much for solid wood cabinet doors. MDF on my 2023 Newmar New Aire cabinet doors.

Yeah so I went back and looked at the cabinet door. They installed the plastic sleeves for a reason, that reason being screws alone don't do well in MDF. You'd think they'd have taken similar precautions with the strut. The plastic sleeves are a good idea however.
How are the inserts held in place?
