And then Richard would post reviews on every site he could including Google telling the world what a poor operation Jim runs. As a good business operator, Jim quietly kicks a few pebbles and walks it off and smiles when Richard arrives after hours the next day. It's a good thing Riker is around to sooth his soul.My reply would be.....Sorry Richard there was a problem with the site, I had to cancel your reservation.
Thats the problem these days. Someone should start a site reviewing clients. And then Richard would post reviews on every site he could including Google telling the world what a poor operation Jim runs. As a good business operator, Jim quietly kicks a few pebbles and walks it off and smiles when Richard arrives after hours the next day. It's a good think Riker is around to sooth his soul.
It's about the inconsiderate treatment of the managers time. As written, the extra effort is the point.Nothing wrong with the site being in 'move-in" condition for the next RV'er that comes along. As the scenario is written, I don't believe any decently run CG is going to wait until the next site rental to have empty sites cleaned and ready to rent to the next RV at the gate. If any do, that's the CG's I want to avoid.
Tell Richard I'll meet him for a beer.
Kevin, if all businesses were perfect, in the eyes of the business owner, we would all be in business ourselves, and there wouldn't be anyone to work at them. It's about the inconsiderate treatment of the managers time.
Jim had the option of saying "sorry, all my sites are full tonight" if he didn't think he'd reasonably be able to get the site ready a day early. It's about the inconsiderate treatment of the managers time. As written, the extra effort is the point.
So! I have noticed Jim's Excel story telling abilities. I have also noticed his desire to go above and beyond.Jim had the option of saying "sorry, all my sites are full tonight" if he didn't think he'd reasonably be able to get the site ready a day early.
